Luis Fonsi was the artist responsible for bringing music and Latin rhythm to the union between Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, the marriage of the wealthiest family in Asia.
The wedding, including pre-wedding events, has become the most expensive and luxurious in India and one of the most costly in modern history, with an estimated cost of between 320 and 600 million dollars.
To the rhythm of his hit "Despacito," the Puerto Rican artist got the newlyweds and all the wedding guests dancing.
"Music unites cultures, languages, countries, and hearts. India danced with us tonight," wrote Fonsi in a post on Instagram alongside photos and videos of the show he gave in Bombay.
The Puerto Rican attended the ceremony accompanied by his wife Águeda López, but several internationally recognized artists and personalities were also present.
Indian film stars like Ranveer Singh, celebrities like Khloé and Kim Kardashian, Mark Zuckerberg, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, Samsung CEO Han Jong, were just some of the famous guests at the luxurious wedding.
The bride, Radhika Merchant, is the daughter of Indian industrial entrepreneur Viren Merchant, while the groom, 29-year-old Anant Ambani, is the youngest son of Asia's richest man, Mukesh Ambani, and one of the 10 richest men in the world, with a fortune exceeding $110 billion.
The pre-wedding parties included a private show by Rihanna and a concert by Justin Bieber that cost millions of dollars, as well as a luxurious cruise with over a thousand friends and family members for four days in the Mediterranean, where they enjoyed performances by the Backstreet Boys, DJ David Guetta, Pitbull, and Katy Perry.
