An accident, with no harm to the lives of the occupants of the collided vehicles, occurred on Monday morning on Vía Blanca in Havana.

The vehicles involved were an old bus, a Fiat 1970, OM 306 Gran Luce, which was common to see on the Cuban streets for a long time, and a Lada.

According to comments in the publication about the accident shared in the Facebook group "ACCIDENTES BUSES & CAMIONES for more experience and fewer victims!", it was the bus that crossed into the opposite lane and ended up colliding with the Lada.

An hour ago I passed by and it was already there, the bus invaded the lane of the Lada, turning from the traffic light at Calzada de Güines towards Vía Blanca, there are no serious injuries," a user pointed out.

The shared images show that the impact occurred on both sides where the driver was operating, a fact that caught the attention of another internet user.

"A truly strange accident, truth be told. I am a professional driver and out of self-preservation instinct, we always give way to the opposite lane in case of collision, and there I see that it was on the same side as the drivers," he mentioned.

By sharing his experience about that busy road, which is one of the main entry and exit routes to the Cuban capital, a user recounted his experience.

"I'm terrified of Vía Blanca. I studied for 4 years at Andrés Luján, which is located on the same Vía Blanca, and what I saw was a lot. That route should be avoided as much as possible," he commented.

Up to the moment of writing this note, it is unknown whether the traffic police arrived at the scene.

On Sunday, a fatal traffic accident claimed the lives of two people at kilometer 144 of the National Highway, near the municipality of Jagüey Grande, in the Cuban province of Matanzas.

According to reports on social media, the crash involved a motorcycle and a modern rental tourism car, although more specific details about the unfortunate situation are unknown.
