Amid the controversy unleashed after the incident of Oniel Bebeshito with a fan who climbed onto the stage during a show in Camagüey and the announcement of the cancellation of all his concerts, messages from loved ones, fans, and colleagues have not been slow to appear.

A few hours ago, after the reggaeton artist announced on social media that all his concerts on the island were canceled starting on July 15 and ensured that no obstacle on the way would prevent him from staying focused, artists like Wow Popy or Michel Boutic publicly showed their support to him.

"In the past, our music was only found in the parties, meaning the streets, where true violence was seen. It seems like they want us to go back in time. I support whichever decision you make," Wow Popy commented on the post, accompanied by messages of love and support from his wife Rachel Arderi and his mother Chabela."

This Monday, after images emerged showing security members escorting a girl off the stage who had approached the reggaeton artist, Oniel stepped forward with a statement.

Personally, I have had to swallow everything that is being said about me, that I mistreat women, that I don't know what else, the people who were at the concert know the truth of what happened. I don't have to argue anything or give my opinion on anything," he said through the stories.

“I have a very clear conscience knowing that I belong to the 5% of men who have never laid a finger on a woman inappropriately in their life. I was raised by women. But that's something I will never discuss, especially not with people who only come to comment when it's something negative," he added in his statement, where he claimed he hadn't seen how they had “taken the girl out.”
