After a prolonged period of yearning for a reunion, a Cuban woman welcomed her mother to the United States.
"10 long years waiting for this hug," wrote @elianyalonso on TikTok alongside the video showing the emotional welcome, with the usual welcome balloons, that erased so many years of separation in a second.
Congratulations, good wishes, and celebrations from other users on the network were quick to arrive.

The touching and happy scene adds to others that are shared daily on the social media of Cuban families who make the dream of reuniting with their loved ones come true, after years of separation due to emigration.
Meanwhile, many others dream of being able to travel to the island to see their loved ones, or in other cases, to manage to bring them out in order to build a better future together elsewhere.
