The controversy between the Cuban reggaeton artist Oniel Bebeshito and a fan who identifies herself as Yelenis La Tigreza, which took place during his recent concert in the city of Camagüey, continues to be a hot topic of discussion.
Now, it has been Bárbara García, the mother of the young woman, who has spoken out on the matter and defended her daughter. She did so through CiberCuba, with a message in which she also addresses, it seems, the security guard involved in the incident, whom they refer to as Garinga.
"Good morning, this is the mother of Yelenis La Tigreza reaching out. I am very sorry for what happened with my daughter, as they could have killed her, but thank God that didn’t occur. I am hurt by the embarrassment and pain my daughter experienced at that moment because she genuinely wanted to hug and kiss him, as my daughter is a fan of Bebeshito," she wrote initially.
Next, it is mentioned that Garinga, who seems to have known the young woman from Camagüey, was also aware of all her health issues.
"On another note, I still don’t understand why Garinguita bought it and threw it away, as if it were just an object. I don’t understand, especially since that boy has always gotten along well with my daughter, particularly knowing that she has had five colon surgeries. My daughter has been in fragile health since birth; all of Camagüey knows how ill she has been, facing serious issues for 11 years since she was born. It’s hard to believe, Garinga, that you have acted so cruelly towards my daughter. I don’t wish you any harm because I am a mother and a strong woman. We are not accusing you, just so it’s clear; may God take charge and set things right and clear. Furthermore, although I wasn’t there, my daughter publicly apologized to the singer, the musicians, and all his followers. Thank you, the mother of Yelenis, Bárbara García," she concluded.
The incident has sparked an intense debate among the followers of Oniel Bebeshito and Yelenis La Tigresa, dividing opinions on social media. Bárbara García's public defense highlights her concerns for her daughter's well-being and safety, while the reactions from fans of the reggaeton artist and the community supporting the young woman remain diverse.
