Yulién Oviedo says he is the only Cuban who makes "real bachata" and El Chacal responds.

Yulién Oviedo claimed to be the only Cuban who makes "real bachata," generating controversy. El Chacal responded with elegance and professionalism, highlighting the mutual respect between both artists.

The Cuban singer Yulién Oviedo has generated controversy on social media by stating during his visit to the show Destino Tolk that he is the only Cuban who makes "real bachata." These statements, made during a recent interview, quickly reached the ears of El Chacal, another recognized Cuban artist who was also recently invited to the same YouTube show.

When El Chacal was asked what he thought about Yulién Oviedo's words, instead of entering into controversy, El Chacal gave a response to Destino Tolk marked by elegance and professionalism, something very characteristic of the artist.

"Yulién Oviedo has many years of experience in music. I have no doubt that he has contributed his first grain of sand regarding the topic of bachata. A genre that is not originally ours, but many people feel a connection to it and defend it. For example, me, who fell in love with a Luis Miguel album," commented El Chacal.

In response to El Chacal's words, Yulién Oviedo replied on his Instagram news account:

"Thank you for that response, Chacal. We have known each other for years and feel mutual admiration and respect. Although things can get tense sometimes, we always know how to deal with public opinion. Blessings to you, your family, your children, and I hope you can soon resolve your legal issues so that everything is in order as it should be. Blessssss."

This exchange demonstrates that, despite the differences, both artists maintain a relationship of respect and professionalism, which is a positive example within the Cuban music scene.
