Electric motorcycle catches fire on the streets of Havana: "Nothing can be saved there"

The vehicle's battery exploded, and by the time the firefighters arrived, there was nothing left to save.

A motorcycle caught fire this Friday in Havana, in the municipality of Guanabacoa, specifically on the street of the Cruz Verde Polyclinic.

The incident occurred in the morning and surprised the neighbors. They did not imagine that the fire would consume the motorcycle in just a few minutes, leaving it in a metal frame.

"Nothing is saved there," is heard saying a person in the video shared by user Raidiel Rey Legrá in the Facebook group Accidents of Buses and Trucks.

The firefighters extinguished the fire and no one was injured in this incident, but there were material losses for the owner of the motorcycle, who did not appear at any moment in the recording.

In the comments on the post, users left messages for the owner of the electric motorcycle. Some believe that the person should be happy because the fire did not occur at their home, where the damages would have been much worse.

In recent months, a large number of fires caused by motorcycle battery explosions have been reported in Cuba. In some cases, this type of incident has claimed human lives.
