Cuban in Miami: "I've been here for 10 years and I'm not leaving"

"The European dream is for Europeans and for few Europeans."

The Cuban @teresacreandoestilofg has caused a stir on TikTok by responding to a user who claimed that there was a quality of life in Europe, while in the United States people lived to work.

Teresa, who lived several years in Spain before moving to Miami, has been clear on her social media about the opportunities for growth and entrepreneurship she has found in the United States, compared to the limitations she faced in Spain.

"I have been here in the city of Miami for 10 years and I'm not leaving; I love this city. I always say, quality is what you set out to achieve. So, if you come to this country and leave behind the 'cubaneo' and focus on your work, on starting your business, your American dream, you can achieve it with sacrifice and work. Something that is not the case in Spain, in Spain the European dream is for Europeans and for only a few Europeans," he defended in his response.

"I arrived all by myself and, to this day, I am happy to have my business, to live off it, and to have the quality of life and the luxurious life that, as I have said in other videos, I never lived in Spain or could live like I do here," she continued in her words that have sparked dozens of comments on TikTok, where many have shared experiences and opinions.

Some have backed the vision of this entrepreneurial Cuban regarding the United States. "Spain is total depression... that talk about quality, I don't know what they are talking about, because to do business, taxes are through the roof"; "I can attest to this, I have been in Spain for 18 years and I know what you are talking about. Sadly, here we are going from bad to worse"; "I live in Italy and I run a hair salon and everything is just to pay and pay, you can't save"; "In Spain, taxes for entrepreneurs consume you. As a Spaniard, I want to leave here"; "Spain is not suitable for entrepreneurship. It's all taxes, and to acquire a home, you have to spend at least 30 years paying for it. It's not worth spending your life paying for an apartment"; "In Spain, the great sacrifice is having a job, and the salaries are another story," some supported.

Others, on the other hand, unleashed the possibilities of success in Spain with effort and determination: "I have a company in Spain, of course it can be done with your feet on the ground and through effort and struggle"; "Spain offers you many things that the United States does not provide, and vice versa, starting from there. You have more interest in obtaining nationality, something that the United States does not provide"; "I have been in Spain for 28 years and it has given me everything, land, house, and my family, but if it's better for you there, we Cubans are fighters and entrepreneurs; I’m glad you are doing well, greetings and blessings"; "I arrived in Spain and I have my business, I have achieved many things and I am still doing it; I believe it’s about setting your mind to it and fighting"; "In any developed country, with sacrifice you can live peacefully, not in luxury but peacefully. But it requires sacrifice"; "I have lived my dream in Spain, I have my business, my schedules, and I am happy to have achieved everything; my children are in private schools and I am Cuban," they said.

And what do you think about this debate that is still gathering opinions?
