A Cuban identified as Osvaldo Perdomo died in a traffic accident in the United States, where he worked as a laborer.

Cuban activist Yenney Caballero reported on her Facebook page that the man had an accident in the trailer he was driving, without providing further details.

However, in an emotional post, he acknowledged the work of this Cuban in favor of animals.

He stated that he always supported her every time she published a case of abandonment or animal abuse. "My sister would tell me, count on me, in every complicated case she would extend her hand to do her part for the animals in need," she explained.

In February, a 55-year-old Cuban truck driver was identified in a fatal traffic accident in which a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) officer also died.

In 2023, a Cuban truck driver was arrested by Texas police on charges of involuntary manslaughter in connection with a traffic accident that occurred last September, which cost the life of one person.

Maikel Alpízar Espinosa, 44 years old and a resident of Houston, was arrested at his home on November 2, accused of being responsible for a crash on September 22, 2023, on Highway 6 in Valley Mills, in McLennan County, which resulted in the death of another driver, according to a statement from the Valley Mills Police Department.
