Bad weather in South Florida leaves impressive waterspout.

The tornado was captured on camera by residents in the Key Biscayne area.

Amid the bad weather that reigned in South Florida this Sunday, images on social media attest to what appears to be an impressive waterspout in the Key Biscayne area, in Miami Dade County.

Several witnesses captured the clearly defined weather phenomenon on camera.

Although some witnesses referred to it as a "tornado," it was apparently a waterspout, as it formed over the sea.

It was not the only weather surprise of the weekend, as a severe local storm that hit Miami on Sunday night resulted in a power outage in several areas of downtown.

The bad weather was due to the passage of a tropical wave through the south of the state that has brought rain and storms.

According to the forecast for this Monday, favorable conditions for the occurrence of precipitation and storms are expected to continue at least until this Tuesday.
