A Cuban resident in the U.S., on his first visit to an American beach, shared a video on social media expressing great satisfaction with the absence of reggaeton, trash, and vulgarity.
Tazmania Cubano (@Tazmania_cuba) on the social network X, published a video that shows the tranquility and calmness of a beach in the United States, contrasting with the typical hustle and bustle of a beach in Cuba.
"There is no noise, no trash, no vulgar and disgusting reggaeton, no crudeness, no people shouting that they are a bunch of fools, just educated and civilized people enjoying the tranquility," the Cuban pointed out in his post.
"Here is the beach, tremendous silence, there is no filthy, vulgar, and tacky reggaeton, and people are listening to Havana de Primera, Van Van, Manolín el Médico de la Salsa," the man in the video pointed out.
"You can leave your backpack behind a little further back if you want; no one is going to steal it, everything is just fine," said the person who shared the video, hinting at the high level of violence and theft that exists in Cuba, as a consequence of the misery and poverty the country faces.
"At least there is none of that filth and that stinking environment that exists in Cuba," he finally said, warning that the beaches of the Caribbean nation are filled with garbage.
During his first visit to a beach in the United States, the Cuban was undoubtedly amazed by the contrast between the reality of the resorts in the Caribbean nation and the country where he currently resides.
Some time ago, a Cuban reported the dirtiness that exists in the popular Guanabo beach, to the east of Havana, which has practically turned into a dump.
Osmany García Zaldívar, a doctor in Physics and professor and researcher at the University of Havana, shared several photos on the social network X showing the sand filled with cans, sticks, empty plastic containers, and nylon bags, very close to the bathers.
Under similar conditions, there was also a beach in Camagüey. The Cuban Yoleisy Cordero expressed her disappointment and concern about the state of the popular beach La Colonia, in Nuevitas.
Cordero described the situation as disastrous and horrific, sharing photographs on Facebook that show the deterioration of the place.
