On July 26, the renowned Cuban actor Vladimir Cruz celebrates his birthday, and one of the most special congratulations on social media was from his friend and colleague Jorge Perugorría.
On his Instagram, Perugorría got ahead of the date and shared a congratulatory message for Vladimir.
"Congratulations to my little brother Vlado on the eve of his birthday! You've already gone ahead of me!" the actor joked.
Perugorría accompanied his post with a photo of both of them that was apparently taken several years ago.
The two Cuban actors are always remembered for starring in one of the classics of Cuban cinema of all time: Fresa y chocolate.
The characters of David, a convinced young communist, and Diego, a young homosexual artist, not only marked their artistic careers but also a golden age of Cuban cinema.
