Massive accident in Guantánamo leaves 23 injured, including 5 children.

Among the victims, there are five reported to be in serious condition.

A serious accident occurred this Monday in Loma Las Marianas, in the Guantanamo municipality of San Antonio del Sur, leaving 23 people injured, including five children, according to reports.

The incident involved a tractor that was transporting all the personnel on the vehicle. The victims of the accident have various injuries classified into different codes: five of the injured are in critical condition (red code), reported journalist Miguel Reyes on Facebook.

The rest of the injured are classified as green and yellow codes, indicating less severe injuries.

The IV Congreso polyclinic, in the municipality of San Antonio del Sur, reported on Facebook that they were providing care to the injured in the accident.

"A total of 23 injured, with 4 red codes, 5 yellow, and 14 green. And 5 minors," stated the institution.

This Monday, a truck fell from a bridge while traveling on a road towards Berroa, in Havana, and fortunately its occupants emerged unharmed from the accident, according to witnesses of the event.

"A truck has just fallen off the bridge after the Santa Fe bridge, as if heading to Berroa," reported user Ricardo Andy Blanco Noy in a post in the Facebook group "Accidentes Buses & Camiones por más experiencia y menos víctimas!".

Another accident occurred this Sunday when a modern car collided with a bridge on the road to Camajuaní, in the province of Villa Clara, leaving the driver with minor injuries.

“A while ago, on the road to Camajuaní, before the climb to Loma Santa Fe, it appears that the driver veered onto the left lane and ended up against the bridge, I don’t know more details,” wrote user Maykel Garateix in the Facebook group “BUS & TRUCK ACCIDENTS for more experience and fewer victims!”.
