Cuban mother embraces her son on the island again after two years without seeing him: "I couldn't imagine how much he has grown."

"The farewell was the most painful; I didn't know how to tell my son that I was leaving."


A young Cuban mother has touched TikTok with her visit to Cuba after two years without seeing her son and parents.

In a video shared online, Clary -@clary.amore.mio on the network- first showed a photo posing next to the suitcases at the airport in the United States, where she lives, and then her emotional arrival on the island, as well as other special moments spent with her loved ones.

"I return to Cuba after 2 years without seeing my son and my parents," reads the text over the image that led to the most emotional scenes of her video, when she was finally able to hug her little one.

"I stopped seeing my son when he was 3 years old, and he is now 5, I couldn't imagine how much he has grown," she commented in the clip, where she shared other moments enjoying time with her child.

He also shared the sadness of the new farewell: "it was the most painful, I didn't know how to tell my son that I was leaving," he confessed.

As is often the case with these scenes of touching family reunions, users on the network expressed joy for her, support, and empathy. Some highlighted the strength of mothers who emigrate to provide a better future for their children and the pain of separation, while others asked for practical details.
