An accident occurred this Tuesday in Havana when a classic American car lost its brakes and collided with a motorcycle.
Lemay Scull reported in the Facebook group "ACCIDENTS BUSES & TRUCKS for more experience and fewer victims!" that the incident occurred at the intersection of Calzada de San Agustín and Sofía, in the Párraga neighborhood, municipality of Arroyo Naranjo.
"Right now, at the intersection of San Agustín and Sofía, Párraga, the brakes failed on the machine," he noted.
Although Scull did not provide information regarding the health status of those involved in the incident, the shared image gallery shows that it was a violent crash.
It was also not specified whether the person riding the motorcycle had a passenger, but one of the photographs shows two pairs of flip-flops, suggesting that there may have been a companion.
In the comments section, some said that the driver of the motorcycle had died. Others mentioned that he was taken to the hospital. There is also no certainty about whether he was alone or accompanied.
A serious accident occurred this Monday in Loma Las Marianas, in the municipality of San Antonio del Sur, Guantánamo, leaving 23 people injured, including five children, according to reports.
The incident involved a tractor that was carrying all the personnel on board. The victims of the accident have various injuries classified under different codes, reported journalist Miguel Reyes on Facebook.
Four people lost their lives early this Sunday morning, including a minor, due to a traffic accident on the National Highway in the section that runs through Villa Clara province.
The deceased, whose identities have not been disclosed, were residents of the municipality of Céspedes in Camagüey, according to several users on social media.
