Cuban violinist Zamir recalls when Carlos Vives praised his talent: "Always grateful to you."

"It gives me great happiness to see young and talented people like you singing with that happiness, playing my music with that happiness," Vives told the Cuban in 2020 after the Cuban's rendition of "For Sale," performed by the Colombian and Alejandro Sanz.

The young and talented Cuban violinist Zamir Muñoz Hernández shared a very special memory for him in his Instagram stories, when Carlos Vives reacted to his instrumental version of one of his songs.

In his post, Zamir shared a video from a few years ago when the famous Colombian singer expressed his gratitude and admiration for the violin version of the song "For Sale," a song performed by the Colombian artist alongside Alejandro Sanz.

"One of the most special videos I have in my gallery for a few years," wrote Zamir in the 2020 video uploaded to his story, with the words of the artist also known as "the king of vallenato."

"Hello my dear Zamir, first of all, congratulations for that beautiful talent that life gave you, that God gave you," began his message Carlos Vives.

"I want you to know that it makes me very happy to see young and talented people like you singing with such joy, playing my music with that happiness. I feel very proud and, well, you know you have a friend here, and of course we will continue to share your talent with the world. I love you, and on behalf of my family, thank you very much for that lovely gesture," the artist added in the video that Zamir recalled on his social media, where he once again thanked the Colombian and announced that he would be coming soon with another of his songs.

But this is not the only time the talent of this young Cuban violinist has been recognized by great artists. Shakira, Daddy Yankee, Ozuna, Don Omar, J Balvin, Francisco Céspedes, Willy Chirino, Leoni Torres, Maluma, Nacho, among others, have also celebrated his impressive violin performances.
