Three people were hospitalized following an explosion at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami this Thursday.
The incident was caused by an oven at a food stand located on the club level of the stadium, according to reports from the fire department authorities.
Aerial images showed several fire trucks at the northwest entrance of the stadium while rescuers attended to the emergency. Hazardous materials units also arrived at the scene after a strong smell of gas was reported.
The severity of the injuries of the affected individuals has not been disclosed; authorities confirmed that the situation was quickly brought under control.
A spokesperson for Hard Rock Stadium stated that the cause of the explosion was identified and extinguished without major complications.
The incident will not affect the Dolphins game scheduled for this Friday night, and the stadium will operate normally.
