A Cuban mother expressed her surprise at receiving the preschool uniform for her daughter, which had a size more suitable for an adult than for a small child.
In a Facebook post directed at other parents, the woman said that the girl's uniform, which was for a child between 5 and 6 years old, was so large that it fit her.
"Hello moms, I want to know if this only happened to me or if it's common. My daughter starts preschool this year and the uniform they gave her 'is too big for me,'" she said.
The mother accompanied her message with photos that clearly show the discrepancy between the size of the school uniform and her daughter's height.
She indicated that she had acquired the outfit on the day it was assigned to her and did not choose from the remaining ones in the end. Despite this, the size of the skirt and the blouse, which literally was too big for her, remains a mystery to her.
"Who are the ones going to study this year, the children or us, the parents?" she questioned in her post.
In her message, the mother asked for help from other parents to understand if this situation is a widespread problem or something specific to her case. "At least it's making me feel like I'm having a heart attack," she added.
For several years, the school uniform has become a nightmare for every parent and the main summer conflict for the Cuban family.
"There are no sizes," "they don't arrive on time," "there is no purchase receipt for all grades," are just some of the complaints related to the issue.
