Cuba ranked 32nd in the final medal tally of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, with a total of two gold medals, one silver, and six bronze, far from the forecasts of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education, and Recreation (INDER).
The performance is quite different from what was achieved three years ago at Tokyo 2020, when the island ranked 14th, thanks to seven gold medals, three silver medals, and five bronze medals.

A total of 21 Cuban athletes represented other delegations at Paris 2024, a figure that reflects the unstoppable exodus of athletes in recent years.
Finally, thirteen nations benefited from the talent of those born on the island, while two representatives made up the Refugee Team: the canoeist Fernando Dayán Jorge and the weightlifter Ramiro Mora.
The group of exiles also secured eight metals, consisting of one gold, four silvers, and three bronze positions.
