Cuban responds to criticism for his work in the clothing department at Walmart.

A Cuban from Nebraska (@edgy.mp3) went viral by showing on TikTok what it's like to work at Walmart. However, the young man faced criticism, and a user commented that by being in the clothing department of the store, he is taking away jobs from women. A sexist comment that Edgy did not hesitate to respond to, providing more details about what he does at his job.

"I'm taking work away from women. That's what this man thinks when I showed him that I work in the clothing department at Walmart," says the Cuban in the video, which quickly went viral. However, the Cuban does not limit himself to that task and in the video explains that his job goes far beyond just organizing clothes: "But I don't only do that; in fact, I also work putting all the canned products on the shelves, opening box after box all night. Additionally, I have to arrange the products of the day and the market in general. Throw the garbage in the compactor and keep organizing until the morning."

"Do you think this is a job for women?" he questions in his video, calling for reflection on the gender stereotypes that still persist in society.

The video has generated a significant number of reactions, both in support and in reflection on gender biases in the workplace. Many users praised the Cuban's attitude and commitment to his work, highlighting the importance of valuing all workers.

"Work is for men or women, you just have to be willing to work and that's it," "It is a job for any human, humanoid, even an alien, it can be of any gender, condition, religion, race," "Work has no gender, only those who are willing to do it, to foolish words, deaf ears," or "It's a tough job, but healthy and strong men and women can do it, it's a job. Go on, you're doing well," are some of the messages read alongside the video.

What do you think?
