The Cubans, along with a Guatemalan and a Mexican, are members of a gang that is dedicated to extorting the residents and merchants of the area.

According to the police report, drugs, motorcycles, and documents were seized that link them to drug trafficking and possible extortions through "drop by drop" loans in several municipalities of that Mexican state.

The authorities did not provide details about the detainees, although they urged the public not to hesitate to report them if they recognize them.
