El Micha returns to Cuba and sings with Yomil at the summer closing in Santa Lucía.

Amidst strong controversy on social media, El Micha is traveling again from Miami to Havana to perform a concert for the end of summer 2024 in Camagüey.

El Micha is at the center of the debate on social media among Cubans due to his continuous travels between Havana and Miami. The reggaeton artist almost missed returning to the City of the Sun on Saturday, but he ignores the danger and the controversy surrounding him.

This Sunday dawned once again on the island to give a concert. El Micha and Yomil performed at a place known as "El Rincón de Candita," in Santa Lucía, Camagüey, to celebrate the End of Summer 2024. They sang together their hit "Pa' Atrás."

Yomil welcomed him with these words: "He's here, back in his home, in his country, El Micha." The audience responded with screams of euphoria.

On Saturday morning, El Micha was taken off a plane when he intended to fly from Havana to Miami to perform at a nightclub.

Upon boarding the flight, the singer had a dispute with another passenger. The flight attendants decided to remove both travelers, without distinction. Despite this, the singer arrived on time and performed, with a full house, at the Play2Pen club in Miami.

This Sunday, El Micha was scheduled to be at the Closing of Summer concerts in Camagüey, at Playa Santa Lucía, with another very famous Cuban reggaeton artist, Yomil.

Many people thought that after the scare of being taken off the plane to Miami, El Micha would stay calm in Florida and not return to the island, but the artist is determined to sing for the audience in Cuba, as he has stated multiple times. So he flew back to Havana.

El Micha's continuous trips to Cuba are generating division of opinions among Cubans on both shores. Many accuse him of being an opportunist who wants to enjoy the best of both Cuba and the United States, while others support him, asserting that every Cuban has the right to return to their homeland whenever they wish.

After spending several years away from the stages of the island, El Micha gave his first concert in the Cuban capital on Friday night. He chose one of the most famous nightclubs in Havana, Club El Johnny.
