After several months of rumors and solo appearances, it has finally been confirmed that Jennifer Lopez has filed for divorce from Ben Affleck.
The media outlet TMZ reported that the actress and singer filed legal documents with the Supreme Court of Los Angeles, requesting a divorce on her own without the presence of a lawyer or her legal team.
According to the information from this news portal, the date of the separation listed in the documents is April 26, and there is no prenuptial agreement between the two, so the assets obtained in the last two years by both parties are considered community property.
The news of the divorce request comes exactly two years after the spectacular wedding that the couple had in Georgia.
The love story between them is about to come to an end, and even the memories of their first surprise wedding in Las Vegas are left behind. While this is JLo's fourth marriage, for Ben Affleck, it is the second.
Last July, it was also revealed that the couple had put their mansion in Beverly Hills up for sale for 68 million dollars, a sign of their separation.
