Melani Olivares and Mariano Peña, the María de la Paz and the Mauricio Colmenero from the series "Aída," are visiting Cuba.

On her Instagram, Melani shared several snapshots from Cuba along with her gratitude to the Cuban audience for the affection they have always given her.

The Spanish series "Aída" won over many Cubans, with several of its characters, including María de la Paz Bermejo, or simply Paz, and Mauricio Colmenero, leaving a significant mark on the island's audience.

The actors who brought these two characters to life in the comedy, Melani Olivares and Mariano Peña, are visiting Cuba.

On her Instagram, Melani shared several snapshots from Cuba along with her gratitude to the Cuban public for the love they have always given her.

"Cuba… Mariano Peña and I thought we were coming to give back all the love we received from the Cuban people for 'Aída'. We were mistaken, it is impossible to return how loved we feel. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts," Melani wrote in her post.

In the images, the actress is seen enjoying the beach, with Mauricio in a pool, smoking tobacco, visiting cultural centers in Havana, and playing baseball at the Estadio Latinoamericano.

Journalist Rafa Vázquez Gálvez also accompanied them on this trip, and in the images he shared on his Instagram, you can see the moment when Mauricio, very excited, is on his way to board the plane bound for Havana. "Let's go to Cuba, my brother," he is heard saying jokingly.

"They say that the beautiful or the best thing about Cuba is the paradisiacal beaches. I say that the most beautiful thing is the people," said digital creator Horacio Sánchez, along with other photos and videos from his visit to the island, posing with the Capitol in the background and touring the streets of Havana in classic cars.
