A prominent Cuban doctor is murdered in a village in Spain.

The doctor appeared with his hands tied and three stab wounds in his body.

The respected Cuban pediatrician Rafael Piorno Fermoselle, 76 years old, was reportedly murdered at his residence in Almería, Spain, local media reported.

The lifeless body of the doctor was found in his home in the neighborhood of Aguadulce, Roquetas de Mar, showing evident signs of violence and with his hands tied with zip ties, reported the media AS.

According to the newspaper pressreader, the doctor had his hands tied and three stab wounds on his body.

The Local Police, along with the Civil Guard and other emergency services, arrived at the scene after being alerted by a neighbor who reported not having seen the doctor for several days and having observed bloodstains at the door of his home.

Sources close to the investigation revealed to the newspaper La Voz de Almería that Dr. Fermoselle, a Cuban by birth, had his house for sale and may have had appointments with potential buyers on the day of his death.

Additionally, it is known that the pediatrician, although retired, continued to offer private consultations from his home.

The Civil Guard of Almería has confirmed the death and the violent nature of the death, although it has warned that the details of the case are limited in order not to compromise the investigation.

Dr. Piorno Fermoselle was very well known in the community, not only for his dedication in the medical field with the Andalusian Health Service and the Poniente Health District, but also for his participation in local politics as a candidate for the PP in several municipal elections.

Her death has shocked the town of Aguadulce, where she resided. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, the authorities said.
