Cuban artists Dayamí la Musa and Candyman, a pioneer of reggaeton on the island, joined their talents to create the romantic song "I'll Leave It to Time," which they announced through their social media.
“Life would be impossible if everything were remembered; the secret is knowing how to choose what should be forgotten,” the singer wrote on Instagram when announcing her musical collaboration to her followers.
Candyman, for his part, posted: "We have something nice for you."
This is not the first time that Dayamí la Musa has recorded with well-known figures in the genre in the Cuban scene, as in June 2023 she joined El Insurrecto and Baby Lores, who gained significant fame in the past with the duo called Clan 537. The song "En la boquita" also had its music video.
In July 2021, Dayamí Cordero, the artist's name, expressed her desire for changes in her homeland: "This will be a turning point for my people," she said regarding the message of the film "Plantado."
