Seidy La Niña has been in the United States for 25 years, but during that time she has not forgotten where she comes from or her roots.

Despite the distance, the singer proudly feels Cuban and does not miss an opportunity to demonstrate it on her social media and also through her music.

“I left Cuba, but Cuba did not leave me,” the artist wrote in an Instagram post that earned her hundreds of likes from her followers.

Seidy's words came accompanied by a beautiful photo in which she holds the Cuban flag high with both arms.

In the comments, several followers reacted to the singer's sense of Cuban pride: “What a beautiful flag. Long live Cuba”; “Long live the Cubans, asere”; “I love this woman”; “My favorite singer. Kisses from Cuba, Guantánamo”; “I adore this woman, tremendous voice.”

Last July, Seidy La Niña said that 25 years ago, she and her mom arrived in the United States "with a suitcase full of dreams and hopes" and expressed her gratitude to that country for all the opportunities it has given her.

Seidy's biggest dream, to become a singer, has been fulfilled right on American soil.
