The Mega Millions jackpot surged to $740 million for the next draw on September 6 in the U.S., after there was no winner in Tuesday's drawing.
The accumulated jackpot ranks number 13 in the history of this American game of chance.
If there is a lucky winner, on Friday they will be able to choose between receiving annual payments for 29 years or a single lump sum of 366.3 million dollars.
The winning numbers on September 3rd were 12, 41, 43, 52, 55, and the Megaplier 9.
