Shark surprises bathers at the beach in front of a hotel in Miami Beach.

Shark spotted in Miami Beach. Experts warn about the importance of protecting this species and coexisting with marine wildlife.

A shark was spotted at the beach in Miami Beach, in front of the Setai Hotel, and it startled the bathers who quickly and alarmed exited the water.

A video shared by the Instagram account Only in Dade shows how the shark quickly caught people's attention while swimming calmly near the shore, a scene that has generated both curiosity and concern among social media users.

This sighting adds to others reported this summer in Florida, where the presence of sharks near the beaches has been more common than usual.

At the beginning of August, a lemon shark got caught in a fishing line in Sunny Isles, north of Miami. Fortunately, it was released by a group of beachgoers, a gesture that was also documented on video and went viral on social media.

Experts point out that encounters with sharks on Florida beaches are more frequent in summer due to the increase in human activity in the coastal area, coinciding with the migration and feeding of sharks in those areas.

However, they insist that these predators usually do not pose a danger to humans if safety regulations are respected.

The importance of protecting these species is crucial for maintaining the balance of the marine ecosystem.
