Miami police release video of the arrest of Dolphins player Tyreek Hill.

While the Miami police say that the Dolphins star did not cooperate with the officers, other voices are denouncing what they consider excessive action by law enforcement, with a disproportionate use of violence.

The arrest of Miami Dolphins player Tyreek Hill was recorded by the body cameras of the police officers who detained him on Sunday.

The police action has caused controversy and was the subject of a subtle protest by the player in his last game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who celebrated one of the points scored by putting his hands behind his back, a gesture that mimicked the placement of handcuffs by the police.

While the Miami police say that the Dolphins star did not cooperate with the officers, other voices denounce what they consider an excessive performance by the law enforcement agents, with an disproportionate use of violence.

In response to the concern that the incident has generated in public opinion, the Miami-Dade police released the images from the body cameras of the officers who participated in the arrest, in order to show that Hill's behavior was not appropriate after being intercepted by the motorcycle police for speeding.

The images show that, after stopping his car, Hill reproaches the police officer for how he ordered him to roll down the window, tapping on the glass. The situation escalated into a verbal confrontation between the two and was interpreted by the officers as resistance to authority.

From that moment on, Hill was violently pulled out of his car, thrown onto the asphalt, and handcuffed by one of the police officers. At no point did the player resist. He was just a block away from the Hard Rock Stadium.
