Cuban comedians Ángel García (Antolín el Pichón), Geonel Martín (Gustavito), and Nelson Gudín (El Bacán de la Vida) showed their support for a young colleague who has just arrived in the United States.

It is about Karel Villanueva, known as El Kereketé, who despite having only been in the country for a month, already had his first artistic performance in Miami on Saturday, September 7.

According to what the comedian's team revealed to CiberCuba, the Kereketé performed very successfully at Toreros Churrascaria Kendall, where "he received the support and presence of talented and well-known comedians from Miami."

"Thank you and a thousand thanks to everyone for the support. One step at a time," said the actor on his Instagram account, where he shared photos enjoying time with Antolín, Gustavito, and El Bacán after the show.

According to another photo, Karel might also be working in what seems to be a carpentry workshop.

The actor arrived in the United States a few weeks ago with his family, after several months of traveling to finally cross the southern border of the United States.

"Tears, hunger, life risks, assaults, back pain, and disappointment from many trusted people, sleepless nights, fear of what tomorrow will bring. Five months in a reel. But a whole life to remember," he wrote on his social media.

"It is hard to beat someone who doesn't give up," he noted and thanked his wife and children, as well as family and friends.

Villanueva was one of the winners of the amateur humor program Los amigos de Pepito, broadcast by Cuban television in 2008. Mario Limonta and Aurora Basnuevo were the ones who nicknamed him El Kereketé, which continues to be his stage name to this day.
