"Dream fulfilled": Cuban woman welcomes her father to the United States

Many users of the network and acquaintances joined in her happiness as they celebrated the family reunion.


The Cuban TikTok user @claudiahernandezr36 celebrated online having been able to welcome her father to the United States.

With an emotional video, in which she wrote "I love you dad," the young woman displayed the moment she welcomed her father, Orestes, as known from the information in the comments.

In the images, Claudia is seen approaching with balloons and embracing her father. "Finally, I have you with me, Dad," she wrote in the video description, highlighting the love and joy of the moment.

This type of reunion, so longed for by many Cuban families separated by emigration, is shared more and more frequently on social networks as a testimony of the wait and the joy of being together again.

The comments quickly filled the post with congratulations and good wishes. "You deserve that blessing and many more," a user commented, to which Claudia gratefully replied: "Thank you so much, my love, a hug." Another follower added: "What joy it has given me to see this video. Congratulations and blessings for you and Orestico," reflecting the impact this emotional moment had on her followers.

Among the many messages, one in particular summed up the general sentiment: "Tears of joy have come to my eyes," to which Claudia replied: "Finally with me, I can’t believe it." This family reunion, like so many others between emigrated Cubans and their families, has touched the emotional chord of those who have lived similar situations or are counting the days to experience their longed-for family reunion.

Before this video, the young woman had shared another one made up of several photos from her reunion with her dad along with some words that are a true expression of gratitude and unconditional love.

"I love you dad, we did it. My little band-aid to the heart," she wrote while sharing the emotional post.
