A house in Havana is attacked due to an alleged settling of scores.

The victim stated that the attackers showed up at their home with iron pellets, stones, and bladed weapons.

A house in Havana, in the Las Cañas neighborhood of the Boyeros municipality, was attacked this week in an alleged case of settling scores.

The victim is Dany Pérez Rodríguez, and he identifies on Facebook as "Dany Yarini." This person claims that he was brutally attacked inside his own home while he was resting with his wife and small children. The woman protected the children while he stepped out to confront the attackers.

Dany does not specify how many people came to his home to attack him, but he showed how they smashed his appliances with machetes.

In addition, they threw stones at him and hit him in the face with a steel ball. The deep wound nearly caused him to lose an eye and left him with a large scar.

"They came to kill me!" Dany said in a live broadcast on his social media. The video was shared by the Facebook profile El Despertar Cubano.

Dany claims that his attackers are people who tried to steal his motorcycle the day before. He explains that he confronted them and hit one with a pipe. The next day, they showed up at his house.

The assault on the home took place in broad daylight. Dany said he responded with aggression to defend himself, and his opponents ended up worse off, but he did not offer details on that.

The attackers left some signs in Dany's neighborhood in which they directed numerous insults at him.

In one of the videos after the attack, Dany showed the conditions of the National Hospital when he went to treat his wounds. They took an hour to attend to him, and the stretchers where the doctor intended to examine him had blood and pus from patients who had been in that room before.

In the comments on the post, there were people who questioned Dany Yarini's statements about the attack he suffered at his home. They accused him of being an "inflator" and a "violent" person.

However, in this case, it is important to highlight that the assault occurred inside the victim's house and in front of minors.

Dany states that the only thing he regrets about this terrible altercation was the condition in which one of the individuals involved in the attack was left. He is an elderly man, who apparently is the father of one of the aggressors.

The man had shown up at his house to demand compensation from Dany for having hit his son during the alleged attempt to steal the motorcycle the night before.

This case is an example of the violence experienced in Cuba today, where more and more, people take justice into their own hands and the police's response is practically nonexistent or delayed.
