Karol G was one of the guest artists at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards gala, and with one of her latest hits, she got the entire audience dancing, including American singer Taylor Swift.
To the rhythm of "If I Had Known You Before," the Colombian unleashed an incredible energy on stage and among all those present who sang along to this song with more than 138 million views on YouTube.
At one point in her show, Karol mingles with the audience and as she passes by the row of guest artists, Taylor Swift gets up from her seat and starts dancing with the girl from Medellín, while she encourages her to move her waist to the music.
As expected, the video of Karol G and Taylor Swift dancing together at the MTV Video Music Awards quickly went viral on social media, in addition to Taylor being the biggest winner of this edition of the awards with seven trophies, including the most important one, the Video of the Year award.
For her performance, Karol chose a stage setup very similar to that of the official music video for "Si antes te hubiera conocido," and also the look she wore at the show, flared jeans and a top, reminiscent of her outfit for this same audiovisual.
