Blanquita, a cat victim of animal abuse in Cuba, has hope for continuing to live, thanks to the solidarity of several people on the island.

On May 16, some children threw the cat from a great height, causing a fracture in her spine. Her owner rescued her and has been fighting for her life ever since, despite facing personal health issues.

The cat was taken to Havana for treatment, but after the initial recovery, Blanquita continues to need special care due to her urinary incontinence and mobility issues.

Her caretaker, Mileydis Suárez, launched a campaign on social media to collect funds and materials, such as wet wipes and a small blanket, to facilitate the care of the kitten.

Recently, with donations from several Cubans, they were able to purchase a special walker to help her move around and gain more independence.

Although Blanquita is still adjusting to her new cart, her owner does not lose hope that she will soon be able to improve her quality of life.
