Mawell shared a celebration message with his nearly 180,000 followers on Instagram for the undeniable success of his song "La Triple M," which has surpassed 130 million streams on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Spotify. Through a post on his Instagram account, the artist thanked his followers in Cuba and around the world for their massive support for his music, making it clear that, although he was not the inventor of the distribution, his song has had an undeniable global impact.
"The 130 million of 'La Triple M' in general... YouTube, TikTok, Spotify... I love you, Cuba and the world," wrote the reggaeton artist in the post shared a few hours ago, and closed with the message: "I didn’t invent the distribution, but humbly, it did go real worldwide, without lies."
The post has generated reactions among Mawell's followers and collaborators, who congratulated him and highlighted the success that "La Triple M" has had in the urban genre. Freddy Loons, who collaborated with the singer on one of the versions of the song, commented: "When a song is a hit, it even goes viral with a photo. We made the second version, and it surpassed the previous video. Let's see if you get excited and we make a third video. Congratulations."
Other users also joined in the enthusiasm with messages like: "The highlight of the distribution story"; "The most popular in all of Cuba. The toughest"; "That track changed the game for everyone"; "The global hit of the distribution," others cheered.
At the end of 2023, Mawell reported that the earnings from "La Triple M" exceeded 20 thousand dollars a month, a considerable amount for a song in the distribution genre.
With the constant growth in streaming platforms and social media, everything seems to indicate that the topic, which for many months had users from around the world uploading videos and reels to the platforms, will continue to accumulate successes, consolidating itself as one of the most representative songs of the Cuban cast.
