Cuban shares her return to the island: Happiness for the reunions and pain for the absences.

On the internet, she also shared her pain about not being able to see her grandmother.


A young Cuban, known on TikTok as @dailenis_vm, has deeply moved users of the platform by sharing an emotional video of her return to Cuba, where she reunited with her grandfather.

Dailee, who lives in Miami and describes herself as "100% Cuban," captured the moving moment when she was able to hug her grandfather again at the airport in a video that has already garnered over 8,000 likes and hundreds of comments.

"Life didn't allow me to see my grandmother again, but I had to return for my grandfather and for the land that saw me grow," he wrote about the images that have touched the hearts of his followers.

In the reactions to his special family moment, many people identified with the painful situation of being away from their loved ones in Cuba. "I can't wait to hug my old man," commented an excited user. Another follower from Miami wrote: "Mine passed away four months after being here, and it was super hard."

Others also shared the pain of not being able to say goodbye to their loved ones. The reactions filled with sorrow and nostalgia reflect how difficult it is for many Cubans living abroad to be separated from their families.

After this first post, the young woman shared a second moment where she is seen crying inconsolably. In this new clip, she wrote: "Returning to Cuba and not seeing you also feels like this, although I felt you with me all the time... Grandma," expressing the pain of returning to her homeland without being able to reunite with her loved one. The heartbreaking confession has stirred even more emotions among her followers, who have not hesitated to share their own experiences of separation and loss.

The two videos shared by Dailee have struck a chord among those who have had to leave their loved ones behind, reminding them of the importance of family love and connection to their roots, even in the midst of distance.
