Young Cuban moves with her return to the island after five years

"Reunion with my girls after so many years"

A Cuban woman has touched users on TikTok after documenting her return to the island after five years of being away.

On the account @lulujulie1996, who lives in the United States, she posted two videos that capture the most significant moments of her return, touching deeply those who have seen them.

In the first video, which she titled "My Arrival in Cuba after 5 Years," she is seen getting out of a red car and being welcomed by family and neighbors at her home. The images show hugs and tears, reflecting the emotion built up from years of separation. This video has strongly resonated with users, who quickly expressed their empathy and joy at her return.

After that first meeting, @lulujulie1996 shared a second video titled "Reunion with my girls after so many years," in which she is shown arriving at the airport.

Users quickly reacted to both videos, leaving messages of support and sharing their own experiences of separation and reunion. “What a beautiful moment... I hope my day is like this,” wrote one user. Others, moved by the moment, commented: “How lovely, my girl, that you saw the whole family, thank God”; "It made me cry. Happy for you, cousin, thanks to God and the Virgin that you were able to make your trip to Cubita.”

Among the comments, there were also those who empathized with the situation of the content creator, recalling the difficulties of being separated from family for so long: "How much we emigrants go through being separated from our loved ones"; "This is how I am waiting for my day, I am very close to hugging my children whom I long for so much."

@lulujulie1996, excited and grateful, responded to several of the messages, thanking for the affection and support she has received since the publication of the videos.

Moments like these not only reflect the joy of reunion but also the reality of many Cubans living abroad who wait, sometimes for years, to hug their family members again.
