After Yailin La Más Viral filed a lawsuit against Tekashi 6ix9ine for million-dollar theft and domestic violence, the New York rapper has not been idle.
Through Instagram, the singer dismantled the accusations against him for theft by showing documents that he claims prove that it was the Dominican's own record label that stole from him, since although they signed in April 2023, it was not until February 2024 that they began to pay him the money they owed.
"Yailin is not signed with me, I never made a dime with Yailin, but I have invested, invested, invested. Moreover, it's not an investment; we were a couple, so my obligation is to see you happy. You are my partner, you are my woman, I want to see you succeed. If the record label is stealing your money, I’m not going to ask who; if I have it, you have it," said Tekashi.
In his statements, he recalled that several of the music videos that the Dominican made while they were together were fully financed by him, without the singer's record label contributing anything.
"When they ask me about you Yai, nobody can speak badly of you, I lift you up high, you are treating me poorly (...) I don't want to talk, this is not court, this is Instagram, but if I go to court I’ll drag you down with me and I don’t want to do that. If I file a counterclaim against you, I win," 6ix9ine warned.
Regarding the accusations of domestic violence, Tekashi challenged her on how it is possible that, if he allegedly sexually abused her, she would leave him in charge of their daughter Cattleya, allowing him to change her diapers and even showed a video of him playing with the girl on the bed while she hugged him. "There needs to be coherence, common sense. I don't know who's advising you, I know it's not you."
If anything is clear after Yailin's complaint and Tekashi's response, it is that the controversy between them is far from over.
