The beloved Cuban actor Orlando Fundichely took to social media a few hours ago to share an emotional birthday message for his daughter Luciana, affectionately known as Lulú, on her 16th birthday.
On his Instagram account, the proud father posted two photos with her, accompanied by some adorable words.
"On a day like today, joy was born. Its first smile was powerful enough to change my life forever," wrote Fundichely at the beginning of his message.
"Thank you, princess, for existing, thank you for every hug, for every word you dedicate to me, thank you for your ideas, thank you for every trip, every park, every beach, every movie, every task, every meeting at your school, because every minute I spend with you makes me the happiest father in the world," continued the actor, known to many Cubans as Suchel.
The post quickly generated reactions and comments filled with affection and congratulations for both the actor and his daughter. “Congratulations, horse”; “That girl is your double”; “Congratulations to both”; “Lulú is so beautiful, she's grown up... nice photo; “You are a very tender man, I'm sure she loves you with all her heart”; “So pretty like her father, of course”; “Like two peas in a pod,” they told him.
Among the messages, Luciana's own comment also stands out, as she responded to her dad saying: "Oh daddy, I love you and miss you more than you can imagine. I will always be #daddyslittlegirl," a response that shows the close bond between them and makes it clear that, despite the distance, the love between them is unbreakable.
Last January, when her eldest daughter, Doris, had her birthday, Fundichely also dedicated some heartfelt words to her. "A princess who, regardless of time or distance, continues to steal my sleep... She was born to be a part of me until my last day," she said.
