The music producer Asdrúbal Reyna, known in Santiago de Cuba for his collaboration with various street artists under the label "Guetto Music," was arrested this Thursday and transferred to the Santiago police unit known as La Motorizada due to his involvement in the production of the track "Súbelo Mayeta."

However, independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta alerted this Thursday on Facebook that the reasons for his arrest were unknown, as well as the whereabouts of the young man.

Reyna, 33 years old, is the producer of the controversial song "Súbelo Mayeta," composed by Yunier González, known as Lico Wayne, and Geordanis Fernández Traba, alias Tino Mán.

Both artists were summoned and detained the day before, in addition to being threatened with more severe reprisals if they did not remove the topic from social media and cancel the recording of the music video.

Mayeta reported that the musicians removed the song from social media due to the pressure they were subjected to.

The song "Súbelo Mayeta" was dedicated to the communicator Yosmany Mayeta Labrada, in recognition of his work denouncing the abuses of the regime against the Santiago population.

However, after the threats, Lico Wayne and Tino Mán chose to cut communication with him, Mayeta noted.

"We must turn into a phrase to denounce all the bad that is lived in Santiago de Cuba. By just putting this phrase, we know that we cannot remain silent in the face of any event that deserves to be published," said the communicator.
