Thief knocks an elderly man to the ground and steals his phone in Havana.

A thief who pushed a 72-year-old man to steal his cellphone was arrested by the Police in Havana.

According to what is described on Facebook by "El Cubano Fiel," an official profile linked to the Ministry of the Interior, the event occurred on 1st Street, between 182 and 184, Alamar neighborhood, East Havana municipality.

"The criminal caught the elderly man off guard and pushed him; seeing him on the ground, he took a Motorola phone from his hands and ran away," he detailed.

The subject, who according to the published photo, is a young man, caught the gentleman off guard and pushed him, and upon seeing him on the ground, snatched his cellphone.

He was arrested and taken to the local police station.
