The absence of new episodes of Vivir del Cuento has worried fans of Cuban humor who were expecting more premiere episodes, especially after Luis Silva shared a message that has raised even more alarms.

The comedian who brings Pánfilo to life responded in his Instagram stories to a follower's comment that said: “What I want to know is why there aren’t more episodes, please understand that Pánfilo and his neighbors brighten up Mondays, enough with the restrictions, you can't cover the sun with just one finger.”

In response, Luis Silva added, "Don't expect good news," words that have fueled speculation.

In replicating the post, Marlon Pijuán, another member of the cast, added a "unfortunately."

The public's concern is that they will ban the program and remove it from Cuban television programming. It is no secret to anyone that, in addition to humor, what characterizes this space is the constant criticism of Cuban reality, bringing the most pressing issues to the forefront.

The latest premiere episode of Vivir del Cuento, "What the Water Left Us," was released on September 16, just two days after the show celebrated its 16th anniversary.
