El Taiger in critical condition after being shot in the head: His manager reveals the latest details.

"They shot him in the front of the head and it exited on the side on the right, it did not affect the left side, only the right," his manager stated.

Marcel Reinosa, manager of El Taiger, confirmed on the night of this Thursday that the reggaeton artist is in critical condition and fighting for his life after being shot in the head.

In statements to Enrique Santos, the manager said that at this moment "the official condition is that he is critical." Reinosa mentioned that it was difficult to confirm the reggaeton artist's health status with Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami: "After we checked with Jackson, they also didn't want to give us information since it was a (attempted) homicide, they are very delicate."

The car in which the singer was found, in the back seat, belonged to his manager, which is why he was at the Miami Police Department for four or five hours to clarify the events.

“At this moment, no one has been able to see José (...) He was shot in the front of the head and it exited on the right side; it did not affect the left side, only the right. The part of the brain that recognizes people and memory is intact so far; it is still a miracle that he survived, that he is alive, and he is fighting for his life at this moment,” the manager detailed.

Marcel Reinosa completely dismissed the speculation that it was a suicide attempt and also that it was a shooting, and clarified that the police are still investigating and already have a person of interest but cannot provide many details about it.

El Taiger is on artificial respiration, and regarding the prognosis given by the doctors, the manager added: "The prognosis is to wait, we have to wait, it's a waiting game at this moment, no one can predict because the last thing that is lost is faith."
