The Cuban comedian Javier Berridy welcomed his mother to the United States with an emotional hug that he shared on social media with his followers.

"After four and a half years, I hugged my mom again. Thank God," wrote the former member of the unforgettable comedy group Punto y Coma alongside the images.

In the comments section, he received dozens of congratulations, including from Orlando Fundichely, Laura Treto, Cuqui la Mostra, Imaray Ulloa, and Eduardo Yusnaby Pérez, among others.

It is unclear whether the comedian's mother arrived in U.S. territory through humanitarian parole or family reunification. In any case, the images bring back the emotion of each reunion.

In recent years, Javier Berridy has stood out for his ability to connect with the audience through popular humor that is relatable and filled with wit, using parody and satire to make observations about life in Cuba on both shores, many of which are precisely about migration.
