"I sincerely hope that God helps him": Francisco Céspedes dedicates reflective words about El Taiger

"We all have the right to express our opinions, even I have criticized certain politicians on occasions who cause us a lot of harm and wished them bad luck, but my perception sometimes shouts at me that those mentioned lack fundamental pieces to be considered people," he said in his reflection.

The renowned Cuban singer Francisco Céspedes (@franciscopanchocespedes) shared a heartfelt message on his social media after the shooting that has left the reggaeton artist El Taiger, whose real name is José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar, in critical condition since last Thursday.

The young artist was shot in the head in Miami and is currently hospitalized at Jackson Memorial, while the Cuban and international music world has shown its support and prayers.

Céspedes, who titled his reflection "Reflexivas," began his message by expressing his solidarity: "A young colleague named Taiger has been shot in Miami, and I sincerely hope that GOD helps him because he is also a human being, and from what I perceive, he has won the affection of many people and has reached heights in his genre that others would like to attain."

Additionally, Pancho Céspedes harshly criticized those who have judged El Taiger amidst his delicate situation: "Hearing people judging him in the name of GOD or the devil is, in this case, a gesture that is not flattering at all from my conscience... It gives the impression in the references of these 'critics' to his personal history that they carry bad intentions even if they seem moral or spiritual."

With a message full of hope, Céspedes asked for the swift recovery of the artist, recalling the importance of faith in difficult times: "Those who believe so much in their god or in their devils, let them remember that if the belief is real, the decision would be in their hands and not in yours with bad intentions." Finally, he expressed his deep wish for El Taiger to wake up: "Wake up, boy, that's how I address you because at your age you could be my son... get up, buddy, and return to your loved ones with a revealing life experience."

He accompanied his post with a painting in honor of the urban artist, created by the Cuban painter Richard Somonte, who has been living in Madrid for five years.

This message generated an avalanche of reactions, with dozens of artists and followers expressing their emotions over Céspedes' words. "How great you are, Pancho"; "What beautiful and sincere words, maestro"; "Only those who feel the value of a human being can write like you," commented some users. Others sent messages of support and prayers: "May he recover soon," "Very sad," among others.

The situation of El Taiger has mobilized not only Cuban artists from the urban genre but also musicians of the caliber of Aymée Nuviola and Chucho Valdés, who have publicly shown their support. At the international level, names like J Balvin, J Quiles, and Zion have also called for the quick recovery of the Cuban reggaeton artist. The outskirts of the hospital in Miami have been witness to constant prayer chains and expressions of solidarity.

In his emotional closing, Céspedes referred to the fragility of life and faith in the unexpected: "This young man... tomorrow or the day after, he might wake up, giving at least me a very pleasant surprise."

The condition of El Taiger, José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar, remains critical, but the faith and support of his followers have not wavered.
