Chocolate MC: "Everyone is focusing on Otaola when we should be focusing on El Taiger."

Chocolate MC, about Otaola: "What is he doing now that surprises you?"

The Cuban singer Chocolate MC has published a video on his social media expressing his support for José Manuel Carvajal, artistically known as El Taiger, who is in critical condition after being shot in the head.

After showing his solidarity by participating in a vigil and sending messages of support, the reggaeton artist called on his followers and the Cuban community to come together, instead of fostering controversy and hate.

In the video shared on Instagram, Chocolate referred to the controversial statements made by Alexander Otaola, urging people to focus on sending positive energy to El Taiger instead of reacting to the host's words.

"I'm seeing that everyone is attacking Otaola. They already know him, they know what his reaction will be. That guy is bad, he has no scruples. What is he doing now that amazes you? It's not fitting for him to go light candles; maybe for me, after all the issues I had with José, it fits me a bit better, because about two or three weeks ago I apologized to him, his mother, and everyone. Let each person deal with their own hate. In the end, that's going to end him. Now they want to put on a giant show on social media; focus on José. We have to have positive energy, don't let people infect you with their negative energy. They're falling into his game," expressed Chocolate MC.

"It is necessary for God to put His hand and help him get up from that stretcher so that he can continue giving us music," commented the reggaeton artist. "Instead of learning and uniting, we continue to promote controversies and wars," lamented Chocolate.

"We need to be united. Right now everyone is attacking Otaola, when in reality we should be focused on José, praying for him to recover and for a miracle to happen," he added.

Additionally, the singer reflected on the criticisms that many artists face. "You don’t know when an artist is feeling bad. I understand him, I relate to him [El Taiger]. Take care of your artists, because until recently they were saying all sorts of things about him. They were even comparing him to me," Chocolate pointed out, urging fans to support artists instead of bringing them down with negative comments.
