Yosvanis Arismin Sierra Hernández, better known as Chocolate MC, is a Cuban reggaeton artist born on February 17, 1991, in Havana.

Chocolate, along with other Cuban artists such as Osmani García, Roberto Hidalgo (Yomil), Daniel Muñoz (El Dani), Ramón Lavado (El Chacal), Jacob Forever, Michael Sierra (El Micha), José Manuel Carvajal (El Taiger), among others, belongs to the Cuban movement known as Música Urbana. Most of these musicians have previously been part of successful orchestras or groups and have chosen to relaunch their careers as solo artists. Some members of the Urban Movement are characterized by the vulgarity and crudeness of their compositions, as well as the ongoing disputes they publicly air between each other on social media. Among Cubans, this musical genre is commonly referred to as "reparterismo." In terms of music, reguetón predominates in this movement, influenced by hip hop, rap, reggae, trapton, and other classic Cuban rhythms.

Chocolate began his musical journey before turning 16 when he started writing songs. However, it wasn't until that age that he gained recognition thanks to his tracks popularized by Adonis MC and EL JHONA, whom he considers his mentors. "En contra de los pronósticos" is a CD entirely written by him for the reggaeton artists Jhona and Jerry.

He was very close to the singer Elvis Manuel, who is considered one of the founders of Cuban reggaeton. The author of hits like "La Tuba," "La Rumba se formó," and "Bandolera," Elvis died at the age of 18 in 1998 while trying to reach the shores of Florida. Elvis was his mentor and spiritual teacher, and according to Chocolate himself, he owes his entry into the world of music to him in order to preserve his legacy.

His song "Guachineo," released in 2015 and boasting over 10 million views on YouTube, became a global phenomenon, thus creating a new concept of rhythm and dance.

In January 2017, he achieved his dream of arriving in Miami with the help of Pacheco Entertainment. That same year, his controversial song "Mi palón Divino" (which reaches 10 million views on YouTube) becomes a hit among Cubans both on and off the island, despite its lyrics filled with vulgar references to sexual organs. In 2018, he reinterpret one of the most popular songs by the Cuban troubadour Silvio Rodríguez, "El Necio," giving it his own unique twist.

He has 2 Gold Discs, one for his hit "Bajanada" in 2018 and another for the song "A Veces," a duet with Lenier Mesa, which has garnered over 15 million views on YouTube. He also has the Silver Button from YouTube for having more than 100,000 subscribers.

In 2019, the reggaeton artist announced that he would be launching his new clothing line named Choco, featuring images related to the covers of his albums as well as his hit songs.

He is the father of four children and resides in Houston, Texas, alongside the mother of his daughter, the also Cuban Daine.
