Neighbor of Damian Valdez, the Cuban wanted by the police for his alleged involvement in the shooting of El Taiger, speaks.

The neighbors are still surprised by the police deployment over the weekend and the search for Valdez-Galloso.

Neighbors of Damian Valdez-Galloso, the Cuban declared a person of interest by the police in the incident where El Taiger was injured, claim that the man is still missing.

A neighbor of Cuban origin identified as "Yamira," who has known him for a year, said in statements to America Tevé that she never saw any strange behavior in him until a SWAT team surrounded his house last weekend in Hialeah.

"We knew him from greeting each other during the day, good morning, good afternoon, but we never shared," said the woman, who did not provide any other details about Valdez-Galloso's character or background.

"I know the house is under surveillance and that Damián hasn't shown up. We don't know anything else about him," he added succinctly.

When asked whether Damian lived alone or not, she first said he lived alone, but then she referred to "the sister" and "the woman," saying that they also "lived there."

"I have known him for a year, but we never shared anything," insisted Yamira, denying any connection to the man now sought by the authorities.

The chief of the Miami Police, Manuel Morales, ruled out during a press conference on Monday that the incident involving El Taiger was a suicide attempt, describing what happened as a "criminal act."

Morales requested citizen collaboration to locate Damian Valdez-Galloso, 49 years old and also known as "el Narra," who has been declared a "person of interest" in the investigation of the case involving the reggaeton artist, who remains in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital after being found in a vehicle last Thursday with a gunshot wound to the head.

According to previous revelations, El Taiger and El Narra shared a friendship, and police investigations revealed that he was one of the last people to be with the reggaeton artist before he was found with a gunshot wound to the head.

In the press conference, Morales explained that the Police need to interrogate him in relation to the attempted murder that occurred near NW 9th Avenue and 17th Street on October 3.

Authorities have offered a reward of $5,000 for reliable information that leads to the whereabouts of Damian Valdez, who is 5'09" tall, weighs approximately 186 pounds, has brown eyes and hair, and has tattoos on both arms and on his chest.

The police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 305 471-TIPS (8477) or visit the website crimestoppersmiami305.com.
