Cuban singer Oniel Bebeshito, one of the artists who has expressed his sorrow over the shooting of El Taiger, shared an emotional letter addressed to the reggaeton artist on social media this Monday. El Taiger's real name is José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar.
Bebeshito posted two images on Facebook: one featuring a photograph of El Taiger and another showing the letter, without clarifying whether the words are his own, if someone else sent him the message, or if it was taken from another post on social media that he chose to share.
He accompanied the images with a short and simple text: “Letter written for El Taiger (La Tranka).”
The letter contains a beautiful and profound message addressed to El Taiger, starting with the nickname by which the artist is known, who was shot last Thursday: La Tranka.
“Give strength, Lord, You who can do all things,” begins this letter, praying for the swift recovery of El Taiger, who is fighting for his life at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
"Lord, I ask you to lay your healing hands on José, our Tranka, to free him from all harm, grant him strength so that his life may be extended, and so that he may continue to share his good music and kind heart with us," notes the heartfelt text.
Finally, he prayed: “God, I know that you can do anything, grant life to our king, La Tranka, so he can see his daughters grow and continue with the people who appreciate him so much. Amen.”
One of the comments on the post is particularly beautiful.
The internet user Karina Jorge shared an image drawn in graphite by a person from Bayamo named René Fajardo: “I want to publicly acknowledge a young man from Bayamo, Granma, who expressed his feelings by drawing the same photograph of El Taiger.”
This is just one of the many expressions of love and affection that Cubans around the world have shared with El Taiger, wishing for his swift recovery.
Bebeshito himself, a fellow member of the musical scene with El Taiger, recently offered the proceeds from the songs "Marca Mandarina" and "El Punto" to help with whatever was needed.
